Unikrn co-founder Rahul Sood raises $5 million for game studio Irreverent Labs

Former co-founder and CEO of Unikrn, and gaming veteran Rahul Sood has returned to blockchain gaming.

His Seattle-based firm Irreverent Labs has introduced in $5 million in funding for its premise of constructing video games with distinctive AI characters.

Irreverent’s funding spherical was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), together with follow-on funding from Eager Crypto, Unlock Ventures, The Chainsmokers’ Mantis fund, and extra.

Whereas in its nascent levels in the meanwhile, Irreverent Labs’ longer-term purpose is to arrange its personal play-to-earn title with NFTs and clever AI characters – enhancing complexity and replayability for gamers.
